
At least three people were killed in a suspected terrorist ramming attack in Münster, Germany
A van ran over a crowd of people at the Kiepenkerl restaurant Saturday afternoon in what police are treating as a terrorist incident, Der Spiegel reported.
At least 20 people were injured in the suspected attack, six critically.
The driver shot and killed himself following the crash. Police are investigating reports from witnesses that other accomplices fled in the vehicle after the incident.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed her condolences and said that her "thoughts are with the victims and their families."
