Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel sent a letter in honor of the Passover holiday to thousands of Israel supporters worldwide. The supporters are members of the Lev HaOlam Organization and take part in helping producers and businesses in Judea and Samaria.

In his letter, the Minister expresses his gratitude to supporters and explains that their support helps residents of Judea and Samaria strengthen their roots in the Promised Land.

He writes, “Your partnership with the ‘Lev HaOlam’ Organization assists hundreds of farmers and producers in Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights, and contributes to the development of the entire region.

“Currently, the Jewish people are celebrating the holiday of Passover, which commemorates our redemption from slavery in Egypt. Many have tried to destroy the deep connection of the Jewish People to the Land of Israel, and in particular to Judea and Samaria. Your actions help the residents of Judea and Samaria strengthen their roots in this promised land and support the agricultural prosperity of the region.”

The Minister signed the letter, “Thank you for your continued support!”

The letter was sent as part of the packages that supporters will receive with products from Judea and Samaria in honor of Passover. The packages were sent as part of the ‘Lev HaOlam’ Organization’s project to support small businesses and producers in Judea and Samaria by sending packages with their products to supporters abroad every month. Among products included in the Passover packages were: wine, charoset, facial soap, honey, spices, tehina, and more.

The charoset was included specially in honor of Passover and was prepared by ‘Aunt Berta’- a local business in the Golan Heights that specializes in spreads, sauces, and spices. The charoset, which is eaten to remember the mortar the Jews used when they were slaves in Egypt, is made of raisins, dates, apples, and cinnamon. It can be eaten as a spread or as a filler in pastries.

Attorney Nati Rom, founder of ‘Lev HaOlam’, stated, “We were pleased to receive the letter from the Agricultural Minister thanking thousands of Israel supporters abroad in honor of the holiday. The Passover holiday represents the redemption of the Jewish people from slavery to freedom and the beginning of their journey to the Promised Land. We are excited to send these wonderful packages with the finest products from this holy land to thousands of Israel supporters worldwide.

“In the Passover Haggadah it says, ‘In every generation they rise up against us to destroy us.’ We see this time and again even today. The tremendous support for Judea and Samaria from residents abroad is our eternal answer to the boycott. This is the best way to strengthen the economy in Judea and Samaria and support the continued growth of the Jewish pioneers in the land of Israel.”
