"There is security camera video that shows her arriving at the Akko-Nahariya road and since then she disappeared. We are also looking at the light rail's security cameras but as of now we have no leads," said Streicher.

"As the hours pass the situation worsens. In the IDU we define those first 72 hours as critical, because a person can survive them with no food and water. We consider those crucial hours to be the difference between life and death.

"But beyond 72 hours there is already immediate danger to life. In this case the past 72 hours have been rainy, cold, and hot in zigzaggy weather that's not good. Therefore, we beg the public to be alert and report anything unusual. The coming hours are very crucial."

The police, together with the IDU have set up mobile headquarters on [Haifa's] Halutzei Hata'asiya street. Citizens wishing to volunteer to help in searches are asked to come to the HQ or contact the IDU.
