The special needs of the Yesha (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) population were recognized by the Education and Finance Ministries this week, and the special long-day program will be in effect next year as well. Yesha Council leaders met with Education Minister Limor Livnat, Finance Minister Silvan Shalom, and the Prime Minister\'s Office Director-General yesterday in light of reports that the program might be canceled next year, and reached the mutually-agreeable conclusion. The current school year will also be extended by up to a month in Yesha schools, and school psychologists will be provided for more hours.
