A delegation from Israel, headed by National Security Adviser Maj.-Gen. Uzi Dayan, will be meeting with Indian officials as part of increased cooperation between the two states in their common fight against Islamic terrorism. It is still unknown if the delegation will meet with Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee. Dayan will also visit the Philippines and Japan for similar purposes. A Jerusalem government source told Ha\'aretz that the visit had been scheduled months ago and that Israel was not involved in any way in the Indian-Pakistani conflict.
