A Russian woman was hospitalized with severe burns yesterday, when a bomb went off after she tore down a roadside sign outside Moscow that read, “Death to Jews.” The woman was traveling along a highway 20 miles south of the Russian capital when she stopped her car and tried to pull the sign out of the ground, causing the device to detonate. She is listed in critical, but stable condition.



Russia\'s chief rabbi, Rabbi Berel Lazar, labeled Monday\'s explosion a terrorist act. The incident comes amidst an increase in anti-Semitic activity since Israel’s Oslo war began, 19-months ago.
