Despite great speculation, National Union-Yisrael Beiteinu party head Avigdor Lieberman told Arutz-7 this morning that no agreement has been reached with the Likud regarding his party\'s return to the coalition in the near future. \"Negotiations are not even underway,\" he emphasized. His seven-seat party is comprised of Yisrael Beiteinu (4), Tekumah (2), and Moledet (1). The party left the government in mid-March in protest of the government\'s \"continued defeatism,\" the Prime Minister\'s retreat from the principle of \"no negotiations under fire,\" and Sharon\'s refusal to nullify the three-man security mini-cabinet in which Labor\'s Peres and Ben-Eliezer were a majority against Sharon. This body was in fact nullified three weeks later when the National Religious Party joined the government.
