Gershom Gorenberg is an American-born Israeli historian, journalist, and blogger, specializing in Middle Eastern politics and the interaction of religion and politics.

He was interviewed recently on ABC by Geraldine Doogue on the subject of Israeli internal politics and the alleged corruption cases against Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the measures Netanyahu is taking to avoid them.

I discuss with him about the precarious position of Netanyahu and the unfortunate propensity for corruption in Israel society.

Plus: Miriam F. Elman is an associate professor of political science at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, where she is a research director in the Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration.
