In light of the possibility that Palmach Ze\'evi, who lost in his bid to become chairman of the Moledet Party yesterday to MK Benny Elon, may start a new party with a similar platform to that of Moledet, Arutz-7 brings the following quote from his late father. In 1996, David Levy, who had served as Foreign Minister in the Likud government, resigned from the Likud in order to form a new party called Gesher. This was the response of Rehavam (Gandhi) Ze\'evi at the time:

\"We must overcome the personal issues… That which happens in the Likud affects us as well. There are no ideological differences between you [Levy and the Likud]. Put aside all the issues of honor and of who insulted whom; they are of no interest to the voting public, and of no interest to the Land of Israel. Please, stretch out your hands in cooperation with each other so that we [the nationalist camp] may wrest control from [the Peres government and] Darawshe, Mahmeed, Sarid, and Beilin. For the sake of the Land of Israel, let us walk together!\"
