The military court in Judea sentenced two brothers, Netzer and Akram Badawi, to life in prison and were ordered to pay NIS 60,000 ($17,00) in damages after they carried out a series shooting attacks and attempted attacks in the Hevron area.

The attacks took place between November 2015 and January 2016, in which two soldiers and two civilians were wounded. The attackers used a sniper rifle to carry out the attacks.

The two terrorists, who were arrested in January 2016, were recently convicted on 12 counts of attempted murder and several other security-related offenses.

The IDF Spokesperson stated that "the IDF will continue to act to maintain security in Judea and Samaria and to bring terrorist operatives to justice."
