Following the recommendation of Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan, the entry into Israel of an American BDS operative, Ra'ad Jarar, who actively supports boycotts against Israel, was refused.
Jarar, who arrived in Israel today Monday as part of a controversial delegation organized by an anti-Israel organization, has been working for years to promote boycotts of Israel and undermine its existence.
Minister Erdan said that "anyone who acts against the State of Israel must understand that the reality has changed ... no sane country would allow entry to boycott operatives who want to harm and isolate it."
