Over 1,000 people made their way, on foot and by car, from Karmei Tzur to Gush Etzion this afternoon, following the end of the seven-day mourning period for Dr. Shmuel Gillis. Dr. Gillis, of Karmei Tzur, was murdered last Thursday night by Palestinian drive-by terrorists as he was returning home from his work as a hematologist in Hadassah Hospital. Today’s march ended with a large protest rally at the Gush Etzion junction, demanding that Arabs not be allowed to drive in private cars along Yesha roads. Eighteen Israeli motorists have been murdered by Palestinian terrorists along Yesha roads in the past three months.
