Twelve days after the last one, in which 15 people were massacred in Rishon LeTzion, Palestinian terror struck at the Netanya open-market, causing the roof to collapse and causing difficulties in the evacuation of the wounded. Close to fifty people were wounded, including five in serious condition, and they were evacuated to hospitals in Netanya, Hadera, and Kfar Sava. The terrorist wore an IDF uniform.
