*Sukkos in J'lem: Benny Friedman and Ohad Moskowitz will perform in a vineyard*

In a special evening planned for this Chol Hamoed Sukkos, Chassidic musical stars Benny Friedman and Ohad Moskowitz will appear together at the Barkan Vineyards, which are located between Yerushalayim and Beit Shemesh. The event is the initiative of Sulam, an organization in Israel that facilitates and advances children with handicaps, with proceeds benefiting the organization.

This year’s Chol Hamoed concert follows the smashing success of last year’s Sulam benefit which featured Mordechai Ben David and Ohad Moskowitz at the Tower of David. The event was attended by hundreds of tourists visiting Israel for Sukkos. In contrast to last year’s production and due to the exclusive location in the Barkan Vineyard, this year’s concert will be limited to a group of 250 guests who will be seated around tables for a stirring, intimate evening with the musical artists.

The event will encompass a private tour of the vineyards, wine-tasting ceremony, attractions for kids, and the main highlight—a special concert featuring spectacular duets and brand-new renditions of everyone’s favorite oldies.

In preparation for this exciting occasion, Ohad Moskowitz posted on his Facebook page: “I have the great privilege to be performing on the holiday of Sukkot, for the second time, for the special kids of Sulam… I will be there to help this amazing institution that helps these special kids day after day, for years.”

Founded in 1981, Sulam is one of the largest organizations in Israel supporting children with physical and mental handicaps and their families. The organization operates a vast network of preschools, elementary schools, training seminars, and more. At present, Sulam boasts 77 classrooms for children with a range of physical and mental challenges that are operated by a highly-professional faculty numbering 634 workers and volunteers. The above are deeply committed to helping the children integrate positively into society; and indeed, approximately 30% of Sulam kids graduate from the special-education system and are included naturally into the regular classroom framework
