(Updated Wednesday 9 AM) Last night IDF troops stationed in Gaza arrested a Hamas motorist who had two pipe bombs hidden in the trunk of his car. In related news, military sources are warning that Hamas is working around the clock to rebuild its terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria that was damaged during Operation Defensive Shield. In an NBC interview Hamas leader Shiek Ahmed Yassin called suicide bombings against Israeli civilians acts of ‘self-defense’ and he pledged that they would continue.
In other war news, Arabs fired several mortar shells at Israeli communities and IDF positions in Gaza damaging several buildings… Jewish motorists traveling near the town of el-Aroub, south of Gush Etzion, were targeted with firebombs and rocks… Arabs threw grenades at Soldiers near the Israel-Egypt border in the Rafiach area. Troops operating there discovered and destroyed a tunnel used by Arabs to smuggle weapons in Gaza from Egypt. No injuries were reported in any of these incidents.
