The Spanish Foreign Ministry on Thursday demanded a reduction in North Korean diplomats in Madrid, in response to Pyongyang’s latest launch of a ballistic missile.

The ministry said it had summoned the North Korean ambassador to make clear Spain’s condemnation of North Korea’s missile launches and nuclear weapon tests, according to Reuters.

The ministry did not say how many diplomats it wanted removed.

In its latest provocation, North Korea this week launched an intermediate range ballistic missile over Japanese territory.

North Korea leader Kim Jong-Un said the launch was just the first step of a military operation that would include Guam.

North Korea threatened a missile attack on Guam, a tiny U.S. territory in the Pacific, in response to Trump’s warning that Pyongyang faced "fire and fury like the world has never seen" if it continued to threaten the United States with its missile and nuclear programs.
