Member of the Knesset Judicial Selection Committee MK Nurit Koren (Likud) spoke with Arutz Sheva about the Supreme Court decision on illegal infiltrators that prohibits taking action against them if they do not leave the country voluntarily. She slammed the ruling, calling it “a very bad decision.”

“Unfortunately, the Supreme Court justices preferred the human rights of the infiltrators who came to find work here over the citizens of the State of Israel. "

She added that "There is also a security problem - because most of them are Muslims, economic and social problems, and crime. The Supreme Court has thrown the citizens of the State of Israel to the dogs, blatantly trampled on the government and taken away any means of deterrence against infiltrators."

Koren emphasized that "More than 50,000 infiltrators are walking around here, and we have to remove them. It cannot be that our country absorbs infiltrators who can endanger us. We will submit a bill to restore deterrence to the State of Israel, and so that they say that it’s not good for them here and leave the country."

"The Supreme Court is disconnected. If it makes such a decision, it is completely out of touch. The Supreme Court justices entered our shoes - legislators and elected officials - and cancelled an excellent law. I hope that, during the next Knesset session, we will pass a bill to remove infiltrators from the State of Israel."
