Arab terrorists south of Jerusalem attacked Israeli vehicles near the haredi town of Beitar Illit Sunday night, damaging at least three cars, Behadrei Haredim reported.

The stone-throwing attacks occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. Sunday night on the Hussan bypass road leading to Beitar Illit, a city of 50,000 and the second largest Jewish community in Judea and Samaria after Modiin Illit.

At least one of the cars targeted by the stone-throwing terrorists was carrying small children.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the attacks, though the three cars did suffer broken windows, damaged windshields, and body damage.

In recent years, residents of Beitar Illit have suffered from periodic attacks by Arab stone-throwers on Israeli cars and buses on the Hussan bypass road.

In 2015, a female terrorist from Bethlehem stabbed an Israeli security guard at the entrance to Beitar Illit before being neutralized.

A year earlier, Arabs from Hussan attempted to lynch a driver on the Hussan bypass road, dragging him out of his car and beating him. Before the attackers managed to drag the man into Hussan, Border Police officers intervened.
