Speaking at a rally supporting Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Likud MK Oren Hazan blamed Israel's left for working unethically to oust Netanyahu.

"Before we say anything else, in recent days I've heard a lot of people in the media - some are sitting here with us - who rushed to eulogize Prime Minister Netanyahu, who rushed to eulogize the Likud, which is leading the country in the best way possible," Hazan said.

"We need to remember: District Attorneys do not hold court on television... Our job is not to investigate, not to judge, not to decide, not to take action in the city's center. I call on all those who infiltrated the District Attorney's office in order to forward their own personal agenda, their leftist agenda, for the purpose of forcing a change in government via the courts instead of via elections to put down their keys and go home!

"It is inconceivable that we should have a reality in which little birds whisper in our Attorney General's ear, trying to warp his judgement.

"We are all human, but we cannot have a situation in which we look only at the indictment filed against Netanyahu's wife Sara, for such little things - it's enough to understand that this is evil. It's just evil. If you would tell me that Sara Netanyahu took bribes, then I would say, 'Fine, filing an indictment is legitimate here. She can pay the price.' But when we're talking about a cup of tea that an aide served her father? Come on, be real."

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit is expected to announce in the coming days that he is accepting the police recommendation to indict Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Police suspect that Netanyahu used funds from the Prime Minister's residence to hire a caretaker for Sara's ailing father, catered dinners, and an electrician for Netanyahus' private Caesarea villa.

When asked if he thinks the slander is aimed specifically at Netanyahu, or at the Right in general, Hazan responded, "I think the Right is paying a heavy price, and has been for a long time. I don't want to remind you about what I myself had to go through at the beginning of my career. But I do want to say, that the State Comptroller needs to examine himself. And I ask the State Comptroller, 'Who is guarding the guards?

"People, there is a huge problem here. This is a witch hunt. Yes, it's a witch hunt aimed at the Right. When they see they're not managing to destroy the government at the voting booths, they try to destroy the government in whatever way they can. And more than anything else, you see here thousands of people here, on social networks, in the streets, and you see the only answer. We will not allow you to do this, you will not succeed."
