A Samaria resident was attacked when he stopped his car near the Yakir junction Tuesday evening.
The Arab attacker stole the victim's car and fled to a nearby village. The victim was lightly wounded and treated at the scene.
Police and IDF forces have begun a search for the stolen vehicle.
The police released a statement saying that "the police have repeatedly advised drivers not to leave a motorized vehicle unattended, and when they leave the vehicle it is important to lock it to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future."
