Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Cabinet Member Ze'ev Elkin discussed this morning, Sunday, in an interview with Kol Baramah the murderous attack on the Temple Mount last Friday.

Elkin said that terrorists and their immediate environment must be dealt with. "I am in favor of revoking citizenship and demolishing terrorists’ homes, even when it comes to Israeli citizens."

However, he emphasized that this is “not enough. Inciters who cause this unrest must be put in jail."

Elkin also referred to the “Qalqiliya Plan” discussed by the cabinet last week, and said that the plan would eventually be removed from the government agenda.

According to him, the plan will not be approved, not only because it does not have a majority in the cabinet, but because of the simple fact that it makes no sense to allow the Hamas-controlled city to control Route 6 and cities in the Sharon region.

“That’s crazy,” he said.
