An infant approximately a half year old was found forgotten in a private car in Kfar Chabad in central Israel Wednesday afternoon.
The infant had been left in the vehicle for a half hour. A Magen David Adom team was called to provide the child treatment and to evacuate him to Assaf Harofeh Hospital.
The infant's condition was initially described as serious. After he had been treated at the hospital for a significant period of time the hospital described his condition as moderate.
Last month, a 1-year-old baby from the town of of Avnei Hefetz in Samaria died after being forgotten in a car for several hours. When her mother returned to the car, she found the infant and immediately reported to the MDA station. The MDA team was forced to declare her dead.
