Police arrested two Jewish youths on suspicion of throwing stones at a military ambulance that was summoned to treat an ill woman resident of Yitzhar.
In addition, a youth was arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers and throwing stones at security forces who came to demolish an illegal building in the town.
The three minors, who live in Yitzhar, Ofra, and the Jerusalem area, will be brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court sometime today.
The military ambulance was attacked when it arrived in Yitzhar last Saturday night, after one of the residents of the town felt ill. As the ambulance left Yitzhar, a number of youths began to throw stones at it, causing damage.
Police take such incidents very seriously and make it clear that "we will not allow harm to the security forces. The Israel Police will continue to act to arrest those who violate orders, throw stones, and harm the forces, and will continue to carry out preventive actions alongside determined enforcement in order to bring the perpetrators to justice."
