The heat wave which hit Israel over the past week will break slightly on Wednesday, but temperatures will still remain higher than average for the season.
Israel's inland regions are the most likely to feel Wednesday's drop in temperature.
On Wednesday night, temperatures are expected to be between 21 and 36 degrees Celsius in Kiryat Shmona, between 19 and 31 in Tzfat, and between 24 and 31 in Haifa. Tel Aviv will enjoy weather between 23-29 degrees, and Jerusalem's weather will range between 19 and 31 degrees. Meanwhile, Be'er Sheva's temperatures are expected to range between 20 and 34 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures will drop slightly on Thursday, when the oppressive heat begins to lighten.
Friday will see a slight rise in temperature, mostly in Israel's mountainous and inland regions.
Temperatures will rise slightly again on Saturday, making the day warmer than usual for inland residents, and muggy for those along the coast.
