The Gen. Tal Committee was appointed several months ago to investigate the integration of women soldiers in combat units in light of religious soldiers\' demands not to be placed in situations that might compromise their religious convictions. It plans to publicize its conclusions shortly, but in the meantime Ma\'ariv newspaper provides a glimpse into some of these. The committee recommends that religious soldiers not be forced to serve in a unit with women soldiers, that sports counselors be obligated to wear full dress, and that no soldier may be forced to engage in activity that might involve physical contact between the genders.
