Police arrested a 43-year-old suspect accused of threatening a Holon school's rabbi's son at knifepoint and threatening to harm other rabbis.

The initial report was received at the beginning of the week at Israeli Police.According to the report, the suspect, a Holon resident, entered a school in Holon in order to look for the rabbi of the school.

When he did not find him, he located the rabbi's son and threatened him with a knife to his throat.Afterwards, the suspect fled the scene after expressing intentions to harm other rabbis.

The police updated the rabbis upon commencing the search for the suspect.

The police said that "after intensive investigation and conducting many investigative activities, some open and some hidden, the suspect was located last night and will be brought today for remand extension in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court."

In another case, the police opened an investigation on suspicion of extortion by threats of an educational staff member's wife in a Petah Tikva school.

The father of a 15-year-old girl is suspected of having informed the staff-member's wife that he is "fining" her on the grounds that she had released confidential medical information about his daughter.The father, a 35-year-old Petah Tikva resident, was arrested and brought to court today.
