Police arrested a 24-year old Guinean national on Monday after he allegedly sexually assaulted his Israeli girlfriend and infected her with the HIV virus he is carrying.
The man, who resides illegally in Israel, is also believed to have forged work visas and other documents for fellow illegals.
The suspect had been living in Rishon Letzion.
Police are expected to bring the suspect before a Rishon Letzion court Tuesday for an extension of his arrest.
