The small north-central Shomron community of Sa-Nur is in danger of total collapse. Only three families and ten yeshiva students currently live there. An emergency meeting was held last night in Yitzhar, some ten kilometers south of Sa-Nur as the crow flies; Shechem lies in between them. Yesha leaders such as Amanah settlement organization head Ze\'ev Chever, Shomron Regional Council head Bentzy Lieberman and others discussed their fear that if Sa-Nur falls, the IDF may leave the entire area. The search for a new core-group of settlers was therefore decided upon.
