David Rubin, the former mayor of the Samaria town Shilo and Peace for Peace author, granted an interview to Fox News earlier today (Monday), in which he analyzed similarities between Israel's and England's random stabbing attacks and the posture a country must take if it hopes to vanquish the murderers in its midst.
To the interviewer's question how Israel defended itself against random stabbing attacks, Rubin said, "The first thing is to recognize that the best defense is a good offence. You can't wait for the terrorist to come to you; you have to go to them. Number two, you have to recognize what is the enemy, who is the enemy. The enemy is not some fictional term called 'Islamism', the enemy is the core of Islam which believes in jihad, holy war against the infidels. And that's the problem..."
Regarding the developing changes in Middle Eastern alliances, and Muslim countries break with Qatar, Rubin said, "We just discussed about a week ago how Saudi Arabia is developing secret ties with Israel to combat Islamic extremism like ISIS, and to combat Iran. Saudi Arabia is very concerned about Iran, it's very concerned about ISIS, and Qatar apparently less so. Qatar has been aiding and abetting the terrorists, according to Saudi Arabia, and helping ISIS, helping the Muslim Brotherhood, and has been doing that for years."
The interviewer noted that only a few short years ago, an alliance between Saudi Arabia and Israel would have been unthinkable.
