US President Donald Trump on Saturday night responded to the terror attack in London which killed six people, and called on US courts to stop opposing his efforts to stop foreigners from entering the US.
In his Twitter posts, Trump wrote, "We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!"
"Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U.K., we will be there - WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!"
The White House also reported that Trump spoke with British Prime Minister Theresa May, and expressed his condolences for what he called "the brutal terror attacks." He also praised the "heroic" efforts of policemen and other first responders.
"United States condemns the cowardly attacks targeting innocent civilians in London this evening," the State Department said in a statement. "The United States stands ready to provide any assistance authorities in the United Kingdom may request."
In February, Trump signed an executive order temporarily halting the flow of refugees into the United Sates and stopping all entries from seven majority-Muslim nations.
A week later, Judge James Robart ruled the executive order would be stopped nationwide.
