
Taxi drivers from the "Hadar" company protested in Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport a 31% reduction in cab fares.
The drivers refused to pick up passengers, and dozens protested outside the airport's passenger arrival area.
To compensate for the protest, Israel Railways is substantially increasing the number of trains to an from Ben Gurion Airport.
The Hadar Lod and Gett taxi companies both submitted a tender for the Israel Airport Authorities contract.
Hadar Lod's current contract ends next week.
