Education Minister Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home) on Saturday evening told Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that he will not automatically oppose restarting negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.

However, Bennett also gave Netanyahu four conditions which must be met for his party to agree to such a step.

According to Hebrew-language newspaper Israel Hayom, the first condition is that the negotiations are held without preconditions such as a building freeze in Judea and Samaria.

The second condition is that Israel not agree to any one-sided concessions, and the third is that none of the imprisoned terrorists are released.

Bennett's fourth condition is that Jerusalem remain undivided and off the negotiating table.

The Jewish Home party told Netanyahu that they are happy to welcome US President Donald Trump, and see his visit as an opportunity to strengthen the connection between the US and Israel. The party also told Netanyahu that they approve of coming to an acceptable agreement with the Palestinian Authority and helping PA citizens economically.
