Delivering first hand testimony, some of the 120 Arab prisoners freed by IDF forces from a PLO jail in Shechem, during Operation Defensive Shield, admit to being tortured by their captors. Many describe being abducted from their homes by Yasser Arafat’s security forces, only to be hung upside down for days, and having cigarettes extinguished on their bodies.

Others detail being beaten unconscious, along with being slashed with knives and shards of glass, while other say they were forced to sit in raw sewage for days. The men were taken into captivity, accused of serving as collaborators for ‘the Israeli enemy.’ Arab human rights groups have failed to condemn the torture of the prisoners.

In several other incidents in recent weeks, Arabs suspected of being in cahoots with Israel have been brutally murdered by PLO gangs. In some cases the victims bodies were dragged in the street and then hung up in public squares for all to see.
