Some 1,200 new immigrants to Israel from around the world will take part this Tuesday in a salute-to-Jerusalem learning tour and celebration in honor of the upcoming Jerusalem Day. The holiday commemorates the 35th anniversary of the unification of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War. The event will take place at Ammunition Hill in Ramat Eshkol, the site of an important 1967 war battle.
