The Women in Green organization achieved an impressive legal victory this week with a Tel Aviv District Court ruling against the Yitzchak Rabin Research Center. Women in Green (WiG), a grassroots organization that stands up for the Jewish people\'s right to the entire Land of Israel \"www.womeningreen.org\", filed a libel suit against the Rabin Center two years ago. The complaint accused the Center of claiming that WiG protesters in Jerusalem\'s Zion Square carried signs showing the late Prime Minster Rabin dressed as a Nazi. The Center\'s website also called WiG an \"extremist\" organization and essentially implied that WiG was partly responsible for the murder of Yitzchak Rabin.

After the plaintiffs proved to the court that a different group held the Rabin signs, the Rabin Center was obligated to issue a formal apology, which was published this past Sunday in the Ha\'aretz and Yediot Acharonot newspapers. An interview on this topic with WiG co-chairperson Nadia Matar can be heard at \"www.israelnationalnews.com/metafiles/asx/engnews/features/monday9.asx\".

WiG co-chairperson and co-founder Ruth Matar is currently on a month-long speaking tour in North America, starting this week with the west coast of the United States. She can be reached at \"michaele@netvision.net.il\".
