Atty. Yoram Sheftel, acting in a private capacity, petitioned the Supreme Court today against the negotiations with the Palestinians. He asks that the Court issue a ruling forbidding the current transition-government from furthering the diplomatic process with the Palestinians. Sheftel claims that in light of the prohibition on the current caretaker government from appointing a new Ambassador to South Korea, it may certainly not wage negotiations on the transfer of sovereign Israeli territory to a foreign entity.
