IDF special forces operating near Hevron arrested Luaiy Kapisha, a heavily-wanted Tanzim terrorist. Kapisha was involved in many shooting attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians. The IDF forces then ended their 36-hour anti-terrorism incursion into Hevron, and even withdrew from the Abu Sneineh and Haret A-Sheikh hills. The operation resulted in the arrest of 150 Palestinians suspected of participation in terror attacks, including 52 wanted suspects. During the short Hevron offensive, the following weapons were seized: explosives and explosive devices, six M-16 rifles, a Law missile, magazines, ammunition crates, smoke grenades, a hunting rifle, two machine guns and combat vests.
