Last night Border Police arrested two Arab youths accused of attempting to carry out attacks on IDF soldiers. The boys, residents of the Israeli Arab city of Taibeh, near Afulah, are thought to have placed explosive devices under a bridge near their community. They had hoped to detonate the explosives when IDF vehicles crossed over the bridge. After searching their homes, police uncovered vast amounts of bomb-making material.



Also last night, IDF troops arrested four Arabs in the village of Silt al-Hartiyeh, east of Hadera, who are suspected of being involved in terrorist activity.



In other war news, last night border policemen patrolling near the southern Gush Katif community of Kfar Darom shot and killed two Arabs. The force detected the men on their way to attempt to infiltrate into the community.
