5-year-old Daniella Shefi, the youngest Jew murdered in yesterday’s Arab terrorist attack in the community of Adura, will be laid to rest this morning in the Kiryat Gat cemetery. Shefi was killed early Saturday morning when three Arabs disguised as IDF soldiers infiltrated Adura, west of Hevron, and began firing automatic weapons into windows of homes. Three other Israelis were killed and seven others were wounded, one seriously, in the attack.

At around 9:15 AM the Arabs succeeded in cutting a hole in the Adura’s security fence. The Arabs then began shooting inside the windows of homes and then tried to break in to random homes. The attack began while many men in the town, including members of the emergency first-response unit, were inside of the synagogue for Sabbath morning prayers.

Shefi was killed when the terrorists managed to enter her home and fatally shoot her as she lay in her bed. Pictures taken from inside of Shefi’s bedroom show her blood soaked Mickey Mouse sheets. Shefi’s mother and two brothers, who were also in the house, were amongst the wounded.

Also murdered in the attack were 45-year-old Katya Greenberg and two members of the town’s emergency response team, 50-year-old Ya’akov Katz, and 22-year-old Erik Becker. Greenberg was murdered when the terrorists broke into her home, and managed to shoot her at close range in her second floor bedroom. Katz and Becker died in an exchange of gunfire with the Arabs. Greenberg’s husband Vladimir, who was amongst the wounded, is listed in serious condition at an area hospital following several hours of emergency surgery.

After the attack, which lasted for about 15 minutes, the terrorists fled through the same hole in the fence they had entered. IDF soldiers pursued the terrorists and managed to kill one after he opened fire at the troops in the village of Tufeh, east of Adura. The other two terrorists managed to escape.

On Saturday afternoon Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Shaul Mofaz permitted camera crews to enter the homes of the victims to enable them to get a first-hand look at the scene of the latest PLO terror attack. Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer said that the international community should view the images from inside of Danielle Shefi’s bedroom to see what a real massacre looks like.

Following the attack MK Avigdor Lieberman, (Yisrael Beitenu party), said that Israel should respond by carrying out a military assault on Yasser Arafat\'s Mukata headquarters. He said that the murderers of Tourism Minister Rechavam Ze’evi should be arrested along with Fuad Shubaki, the mastermind behind the Karin A arms-smuggling operation.
