The Negev District police arrested five Bedouins last night, residents of the town of Rahat. They are suspected of hurling rocks at vehicles driven by Jewish motorists traversing the Lehavim Junction. Arutz-7 correspondent Moshe Pri\'el reports that the suspects were brought to the Be\'er Sheva Magistrates Court at approximately noon today; police are requesting that the suspects\' custody be extended.





In related news, the Jerusalem District police this week arrested six Arab residents of eastern Jerusalem suspected of throwing firebombs at police officers near Lions Gate last Friday. The six are also thought to have been involved in the hurling of a firebomb at a passenger bus near the Rockefeller Museum in eastern Jerusalem
