Yigal and Haggai Amir have turned to the Supreme Court for help. They claim that the refusal of the Prison Service to allow them to attend their sister’s wedding is discriminatory, and that other convicted murderers are treated more leniently. The reason given by the General Security Service for the ban: the need not to encourage extremist elements.
