The Supreme Court held a preliminary hearing today on a petition regarding the death of the soldier Madhat Yusuf in Joseph\'s Tomb in Shechem at the beginning of the Oslo War. The petitioners - a group called Ichpat (Care) - demand an investigation into the circumstances of his abandonment, leading ultimately to his death. The State counsel asked for time to study the material, and the next session will therefore be held only eight months from now.
