Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman arrived at the scene of Sunday's terrorist attack at the Haas Promenade in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of southern Jerusalem Sunday afternoon.

Netanyahu and Liberman refused to answer questions from reporters at the scene.

The Prime Minister connected the attack with the ISIS terrorist organization. "According to all the signs, the terrorist was a backer of Islamic State," he said at the scene of the attack.

At approximately 1:00 PM a terrorist drove a truck at high speed into a group of soldiers waiting next to a bus, killing four and wounding fifteen. Bystanders said the truck came from the east, the location of the nearby hostile Arab neighborhood Jabel Mukaber, also the home of the terrorists who perpetrated the Har Nof synagogue massacre and the Merkaz Harav yeshiva massacre.

The terrorist was shot and killed by one of the tour guides leading one of the groups of soldiers at the promenade. Several hundred soldiers and about ten tour guides had arrived at the scenic spot overlooking the City of David to learn about Jerusalem's history as part of the IDF educational program.
