Interesting things are always said at the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee weekly gatherings, and for a report on today\'s session, Arutz-7 spoke with member MK Uri Ariel (National Union). Ariel was rather circumspect, saying,
\"The goings-on are secret, of course, so I can only quote that which I said as well as certain things that Prime Minister Sharon said [or that are otherwise well-known]. In Gaza, 20 grave incidents of Palestinian violence take place daily - aside from other less serious incidents. Sharon said that terrorists have no immunity anywhere - even though the army barely touched Hevron and Gaza during Operation Defensive Shield; I said that the army should have gone in to these places. Sharon also said again that there would be absolutely no discussion of the removal of any Yesha settlements, and that it is not an issue at all until the permanent-status agreement is discussed, and that any talk of such only increases the motivation of the Arabs and terrorists to hit us harder… Regarding Joseph\'s Tomb, even MK Ran Cohen (Meretz) surprised us and agreed that if there is a holy site for Jews, and Jews want to go there, and the agreements allow us to be there, then it would be appropriate for us to be there.\"
