A Boeing-767 El Al jet on its way to Paris returned to Israel this morning after a hitch was discovered in the plane. The problem was not an uncommon one, but the El Al practice is not to take chances, and so the plane was called back two hours after it departed. The 189 passengers are now being transferred to other flights.
