Correspondent Haggai Huberman unfolds a gruesome story of how Palestinian terrorists are willing to dispose of their children\'s lives in the service of their murderous designs. The IDF learned the details when it questioned a 14-year-old Bethlehem girl, Shirin Rabia, when the forces first entered the city earlier this month. The girl confirmed that she had planned to commit a suicide attack, at the behest of her own uncle, Tanzim senior Yihye Da\'amse.

She recounted that when a relative of hers was killed several months ago while preparing a bomb, she felt that Israel had killed him, and decided to become a shahid - a suicide murderer. She told her uncle, known for his terrorist activity in the Tanzim, and he agreed to help her. In March 2002, after the two had not been in contact for a few months, her school principal called her to the office - and there she found her uncle waiting to see her. He told the 14-year-old that the Tanzim was using girls for its terrorist activity, and asked her to enlist some of her friends. She agreed, and asked two 15-year-old girls to join, but they turned her down.

A week later, Uncle Yihye asked his niece if she was still ready to kill herself. When she said that she was, he said he would give her an explosives vest, but that she would have to find a way to enter pre-1967 Israel - where she had never been before. The plan fell through only when the girl\'s family found out about it and pressured her to call it off.

\"This story joins a series of others,\" Huberman concludes, \"in which terrorist organizations use girls and women for suicide attacks, in order to take advantage of their innocent appearance that will allow them to reduce suspicion and travel more freely\" - and more easily kill themselves and Jews.
