Negotiations over the Church of the Nativity standoff in Bethlehem will not resume today, as a hoped-for meeting will not take place. The PA Governor of Bethlehem was one of those who was to have taken part in a meeting with IDF representatives today, but because of the extent of the disagreement, it was decided that there would be no point to holding the meeting.



Some 200 armed Palestinian terrorists have taken refuge in one of Christianity\'s holiest sites in the country, taking hostage dozens of clergy in the process. The Arabs demand that the terrorists be allowed to go to Gaza, while Israel insists that they either give themselves up or be deported permanently to a third country.
