A special team of IDF soldiers entered PLO-controlled Khan Yunis last night and destroyed eleven structures discovered to be the source of the terrorist mortar fire on IDF posts and civilian communities in Gaza. IDF spokesman Ron Kitri this morning confirmed that the operation indeed took place, explaining that the army\'s goal is to \"prevent the continuation of terrorist attacks against civilians and soldiers.\" Kitri stressed that last night\'s operation was merely part of a long-term plan to strike at the sources of terrorism. Last night, Arab terrorists fired mortar shells at communities and army posts in Gush Katif.
