Born in a DP camp in Austria, Yaacov grew up in New York hearing several languages - but it was the English language which truly fascinated him, to the point that he enjoyed memorizing dictionaries as a kid.
He got into a masters program in journalism by writing his own obituary, and went on to teach the first ever university-level course on journalism taught via computer.
Yaacov began several successful publishing companies, became ordained as a rabbi, and spent three incredible years as the rabbi of Newfoundland.
He also started the first book-and-party-store, and the Enjoy-a-Book club, before making Aliyah to Jerusalem with his family. Since then, he has started several new and successful publishing companies and authored quite a few books of his own, including Princess Alopecia which won the coveted Triangle Award.
Tune in to hear Yaacov, a natural storyteller, tell of his adventures, with humor, insight, and inspiration.
