The Muslim Graveyard in East Jerusalem, where several of the terrorists from the latest round of terror are buried, next to Herod’s Gate, has become a site of pilgrimage for Arab visitors to pay respects to those who identify with the terrorists, according to Yisrael Hayom.
Palestinian flags have been planted in this graveyard and many Arab children and teens come to visit and pay homage to the terrorists buried there. Visitors leave flowers upon the graves of the terrorists that committed acts of terror and killed Israelis.
This site has apparently turned into a national site for Palestinian Arabs who see these terrorists as heroes and martyrs.
One of the most visited graves is that of Baha Aliyan, one of the two terrorists that perpetrated the deadly Jerusalem line 78 bus terror attack in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Armon Hanatziv. In that attack, 3 Israelis, including one American retiree, were killed and 3 were severely injured.
“This is no less than absurd," GoJerusalem tourist website Chairman Maor Tzemach told Yisrael Hayom, “That in the heart of Israel, in the light of day, there are acts of support for terrorists and murderers.”
He added that “If this graveyard becomes a site for inciting violence and encouraging the murder of innocents, I call upon the Minister Gilad Erdan to close it.”
